powersteering from coily sammurai into sierra
Hey
Anyone know if the powersteering outta a 1997 Coily Samurai will fit into a 85 Sierra, and what bits you need to swap over? is it all just bolt on?
Cheers

Anyone tried sleeping in the back of a LWB sierra or putting a bed in the back? any pics? how'd it go? Got a LWB project on the go and thought it'd be cool to just be able to sleep in the back on safari type trips... not really taking about fullon camper type wagon just like a foldup foam mattress ...

From memory: There is a thin round plate with lots of holes in it, and 4 countersunk cross head screws (mine only had 2 there), and then there is a thicker round plate behind it with lots of holes with big thread going around the main spindle and then 4 of the many little holes are threaded also ...

few interesting things been looking at... According to an application guide 180sx springs are same as s13 and also as sunny sedan. The same springs are listed as lowering springs for a BMW e34 (indicating stock springs must be higher) 94 Honda Accord springs are 100mm diameter + 410mm free height ...

have a look in the vitara bible... It won't improve articulation any but would be possible to put 50mm spacer rear and 30mm spacer front... the front is about 1.5x whatever you put in... ie 20mm will give 30mm lift 30mm will give 45mm of lift... the rear is just what you put in. but if your going ...

What do you guys think is the best way to increase the radius of the guards (ie cut them), and maintain a lip for screwing flares into, whist still looking decent. want to increase approx 1 inch from around the whole guard. Here are some options i've found through searching: -Cutting the stock lip ...

Here's another site worth looking at: http://www.project-tinfoil.co.nz/ All about Stu buding up a Jimny for winch challenges, and still being road legal. Good site details what he did at each step and why, and the $$$ (in NZD) involved also. There are plenty of better trucks out there and no one ...
