gen 3 into a gu

I am tossing up a few ideas but what i want to know has anyone converted there gu with a gen 3 ? i want to get rid of the 2.8 in my patrol and i know that the gen3 is a good motor has anyone done it if so was it worth doing how does it go and roughly how much did it set you back ?

I am getting 315-75-16 goodyear wrangler muddies on my gu on tuesday, i will be replaceing the current tyres which are 285-75-16 bfg muddies has anyone else got the 315's on their rigs and how do the goodyears handle compared to the bfg's

ok is everyones here like this,,,,,,,,,,,, exhaust manifold then goes into a little flexi pipe thing then goes to the big muffler box then over the diff and at the end that little muffler? have yous taken out that big muffler box for the piece of pipe??? That is the same as mine now minus the big ...

Thats what i have found, it seems to have better acceleration then it did before and you just can't beat that noise.

I just cut out the large centre muffler on mine and it made a differance to the pick up as well as giving it a good note and turbo wistle.

i have not long put one in my arb bar on the bravo and so for no problems to report, and i moved the solinoids to inside the engine bay. the only thing is the free spool switch is under the bar so you have to reach under to switch it, but a few people have told me it is possible to rotate the gears ...

The bravo is petrol i should have said that i forgot to mention that, i have just put on a arb steel winch bar as well as a winch and that has slowed the 4x4 down a bit i have noticed... there is a sports exhaust going on in a few days so hopefully that will give some power back but i would still ...

I have a 1996 mazda bravo that i either want to bolt on a turbo or supercharge it i just don't know which way to go. Would the supercharger that castlemain rod shop sells for 6cyl commodores fit because i think that it would be cheaper to supercharge it, has any one on here done this or know somone ...
