Dont run it through the cig lighter.

The three ways dont work all that well on 12V
Keep the plug setup but run a nice thick wire straight to your battery (with fuse)
This way you wont get any current loss.
The cig lighter will use a tiny wire and is all but useless.

Well I havent run the tank throug but so far the observed results are: Quiet the noise from the injector gear / pump was quietened almost instantly. Power Same or maybe a little less. Rohan at Midas Lilydale can knock up some great panhards.
the rear would work out fairly cheap but the front might not be due to the extra bends.
If you do a measured length then its heaps cheaper than adjustable.

2 seats thta Ive liked in the past were:
Suzuki GTi seat, good wrap around stability.
Nissan Bluebird seats: surprisingly comfortable on long trips and some had adjustable lumber support.

The Bluebird seats might even be an easy bolt up but the GTi seats would need some work.

I love this thread.

I put a couple of cheap 12V lights on hte underside of my bonnet.
That way I dont have to find the torch when something breaks in the dark. Just hit the switch, look in engine bay
