fitted 31x 10.5 on my MK no worries, had gotten new rims to suit the tyres size. If it scrubs... usually first thing would be the offset of the rims? and also if you had adjusted your wheel turning stopper, mayb it'll scrub.

As my topic says...


whenever my motor is idling... the whole car rattles, i'm wondering if this is normal or not and I had the ute for couple years now, would a dyno tune up elimate this ratting by tuning the motor to idle smoothly?

i've had looked up everywhere and had no hard luck on finding ...

I have a GLX model, same year, same details single cab.

Been off road in my ute, pretty good for a stock car if you are doing some touring, nothing too hardcore.

With a better tyres, I have fitted Goodyear Wrangler 31x10.5 R15 and it goes better upward a slippy hill.

Downside, the crossmember ...

If yes, what's involved and does it need to be engineered approved?

Great car for trips, nice and easy to look after, tough little bugger compared to cruiser and Patrols.:twisted:

Great for fuel usage than them big arse wagons

Can do more than what the brouche says such as towing capicity etc

they're located under the dash on the driver side, they're the push in fuse type

blew a few fuse doing mod to those spotties on the roof... whoops :oops:

after a bit of study... in the suzuki bible....

I'm fitting some new bushes kits for my standard springs. Main problem atm is that i'm on the rear front spring eyes now.. can't fit the nylon with steel pipe around the nylon.. it doesn't seem to fit in that hole!

any coverstation in any vehicle can be done as long as it pass the ADR (australian design rules)

There the ute has a rollbar on the trayback, maybe stregthen the chassis as well... and a good decent back panel to suit. I can't see a towbar so i guess it isn't for towing.. its for carring the dogs ;)
