fitted 31x 10.5 on my MK no worries, had gotten new rims to suit the tyres size. If it scrubs... usually first thing would be the offset of the rims? and also if you had adjusted your wheel turning stopper, mayb it'll scrub.
just my 2 cents

As my topic says...
whenever my motor is idling... the whole car rattles, i'm wondering if this is normal or not and I had the ute for couple years now, would a dyno tune up elimate this ratting by tuning the motor to idle smoothly?

I have a GLX model, same year, same details single cab.
Been off road in my ute, pretty good for a stock car if you are doing some touring, nothing too hardcore.
With a better tyres, I have fitted Goodyear Wrangler 31x10.5 R15 and it goes better upward a slippy hill.
Downside, the crossmember ...

BJ40 gearbox conversion
Hi all, a mate of mine is wondering if he can do a gearbox conversion from his 4 spd box to a 60 series 2F 5spd box?
If yes, what's involved and does it need to be engineered approved?
Let me know your thought or been done.
cheers

suspension question for 60
Hi all
I'm asking on behalf of a mate who just got himself a 60 cruiser.
He want to do it up into a good touring 4by, so he can go on trip up to cape york and the like etc etc
he had OME in his old 60 and he liked it but he's looking for something better or try something else.
