I did a wet compression test and it bumped the compression up to 200psi. So the rings are buggered. So I went out and bought some Lucas oil stableiser and it has thickened the oil up enough to stop most of the smoking. Going to put a vit motor in at some stage soon so not going to re-ring this ...

The yota carb is off a 1.3L 4c engine. From what I can tell they were in corolla's from about 79 - 84 and Lite-aces.(cost me $25 from wreckers) Make sure you get the studs and thermal spacer off the corolla/lite-ace manifold, it bolts straight on and i havent made any mods to anything really other ...
