Re: Rear 4 link springs

:? This is how I drive it - with the radius arm bolts all in, . ive read through this a few times steve, but for the life of me i can't think of what bolts you would be taking out of the radius arms to allow it to flop without them falling out. its looking like my heap will be getting coils in the ...

check your spark plug tubes for signs of the spark jumping out the side to the head. will look like a pin hole with white soot around it. otherwise swing round one arvo and i'll have a look for you! :D

Spike - that axle has been moved back, but it's all been done with the springs. See how much of the spring is visible in front of the rear wheels? On a stock sierra an equal amount of spring will be visible fore and aft of the tyre. I'm not convinced the chassis has been cut but I could be wrong ...

yep, mine has the vacuum pump on the tappet cover. didn't think to check where it was on the "good" one at work. i'll check the numbers and see if i can find anything. i was thinking the engine would have to be Gu cause it has the crank sensor and tone wheel, not sure that could be fitted to a ...

SO i'm at my wits end with this car. i check and double checked the timing. all ok. thought tight tappets would explain all my symptoms. poor starting ( winds over for about 4 seconds before starting and will not start without glowing regardless of temp) zero torque. have to rev it to 2ooorpm to get ...

go with a bent kit. yeh it sounds easy using the vit gearbox but the transmission tunnel, cross member and gearbox mounts all need modding and the gearbox is about a foot longer than the sierra box so a shorter jack shaft will need to be made and you may have alignment issues. i have used a adapter ...

Seeing as theres no cost difference between ARB front or rear lockers, you could run the rear side gears and 26 spline axles... so you get a bit more beef for your buck at the same time. i was only talking to turbo tonka about this the other day. my thoughts are, i would only consider locking my ...

hey mr rocky, did you go from a 12% (1lt) case to a 20% case expecting it to lower the revs :? what gearbox are you using? my numbers say at 100ks with 31s, 4.1diffs, .864 5th and 1.58 maruti tranfer you should be revving at 3761 rpm. if you go to a 3.7, it will drop it to 3394rpm. but these numbers ...
