Will the Micotech control EDIS? If so, then junk the dizzy (but leave it in to drive the oil pump) and go for Ford EDIS8 ……… plenty about on eblag. Use a ford transit toothed wheel on the crank pulley and a Ford VR sensor………….. a few over here have done this mod and use Megasquirt or megajolt to driv ...

If the front prop rotates when in diff lock then the centre diff cross pin must be OK ................ Sounds like a front Halfshaft ...... ususally the short shaft and if its the 10 spline it will have twisted and broken right at the splines ....... the broken part in the diff can be a bar steward ...

Yeah, I’ve used solids on 3.5’s ………….. but only on race engines where the std hydro’s run out of steam at 6K rpm. They should work OK on most cams but depending on the manufacturer of the solids you will probably need to shim the rocker posts to get the correct clearances …….. Solids make the engine ...

prestolite aren't great.... I think crap would be a better description :x ............... and they leak water into the bellhousing when deep wading.
