Thermo fans on a 75 series

G'day, I am thinking of putting a thermo fan/s on my 75 series ute, can anyone here tell me, 1: what size is best for the job? 2: is it best to have them on a switch/temp controlled or on all the time? (I was thinking of having a switch anyway for water crossing) 3: do you know of anyone selling ...

I have an aftermarket one in my 75 & it works great, cost about $1200 and doesn't cut out like the factory ones if you want to sit on 120k all day.

G'day, I searched for about an hour looking for a post about overhearting problems someone had with a 75 series cruiser (1HZ) & couldn't find it so here we go again.... It is fine around town but on the highway it overheats & I remember someone saying about the fan clutch and how it shouldn't matter ...

2 things I have been told, if you can start it without glowing first thing in the morning and it fires straight away, its direct injected & the 1HD-T will slot straight into a yota where a 1HZ was but the 1HD-FE you have to muck around a bit because some of the components are on the other side. I ...

"Well, the more i think about it, cost will play a part. Just at the few Cruisers i have looked at now, i cant believe that they are still mostly over 10grand, even for older stock standard ones..." Gives you an idea of resale, a lot better for the cruiser if you want to upgrade, if you want a pure ...

Q for Quick 60

Hey Quick60, in an older post about oils, you mention an oil ULX-110 that you use in your 1HD-T & they make a great gear oil too...
Q- what is the brand of this oil & what is the name of the gear oil.
