Re: Pics of my Coil conversion

I think the lowered Panhard bracket broke/cracked on an all out trip to conquer one of the hills just out of Darwin before he left. I think it was all fixed up and strengthened soon after.

I kept driving down the highway thinking all was good, until I was on a long straight and had done a ...

Have the same issue with mine but it happens irregularly. Would be keen to know any other information on this? Is it a quick part replacement fix or a little bit harder?

Pack it up with grease. get as much as you can in there, pack it up then slip it over the CV and then pack more in and around it. The bearings have to be packed with grease as well but they are in a different section to the swivel hub.

Excuse the shitty lookin scratched up paint work... A narrow track Sierra (NT) is far easier to do as Gwagonsteve has said, it allows the top leaf to run and rest along the bottom of the chassis when not in use. I have a capture pin which I leave in for most road driving. Mine uses the Sierra ...

As Gwagon has said look for a skinnier tire if going with a 33" tire as your less likely to run into tires hitting springs on full lock as well, well only just but it all helps.

if you dont know how to set up r&p correctly with factory specks you are best off getting someone to do it for you. An as I have told you Shep, my trust in most Darwin businesses continually gets burned and its why it makes buying new things and thinking about who to get it done by very hard. :x
