220k's is fuk all, because these were $140k when new, they get looked after a little better than the average farm hack. But even for a normal 100 series, 220k's isn't much. Still only 20k's a year. Most done early on. We've only done 30k's in the last 3 years.

Tows good, will maintain speed up ...

I have 13 190w panels, and a 2.5kw invertor.

By my math, 2,470w of panels, of which 16% is 395w.

So, is the maximum my setup able to produce, going to be about 400w?
Or is the 190w actually 16% of a theroetical output of 1190w per panel?

Kind of like engine power output may be 300hp, but when ...

Just a quick question, to those in the know.
I have a 2.5kw unit on my house, does that mean that the most I will get from it is 400w, assuming it is 16% efficient? Each panel is 190w.

Would need to buy/make an adaptor, and change the fuel pump/reg. Maybe have to play with the dissy too.

They never had a carby, originally, so you'd have to adapt something, and change the fuel pump or the reg.

Working in a workshop, we are told that the replacement speedo must be wound forward or backward to the same as the old unit, when replacing a speedo, regardless of whether it is a new or used unit, odometer only or complete cluster.

I think the inlet goes in the fender, under the tray on the right side, so shouldn't affect whatever you have on that plate.

I am looking to do the same, in some big diameter mandrel bent pipe, then flexy hose in the engine bay. I was thinking of cutting down the original inlet, and hoseclamping ...

I used to have a Carby GQ, auto, and it was a lot slower than a Manual, so I sold it and bought an EFI, and it wasn't much better, on 35's, with 4.6's, it struggled to do 110kph on an incline.

I now have a LX470, with a blower on it, and it will tow our racecar at 110kph, uphills, no worries! Our ...

A $50k Japanese (manufactured in Thailand) ute would be worth $25k in 3-5 years, so is a Great Wall was worth anything more than $0 at 5 years, your in front.

It was ages ago now, but the repco Z9 only had filter material 2/3 of the way down, probably like a Z10 shortie filter. It was also packed pretty loosely, not tight like the rest, with lots of paper.
Maybe ok for filtering cooking oil for a diesel perhaps!

We have cut them open, along with Holden, Ryco, ACDelco and Wesfil.

I wouldn't let e Repco filter out of the box, let alone near a car I own. Wesfil was pretty average too, the rest were good.

TJ questions from a Jeep noobie

I am looking at a TJ, and have had a look thru the tech questions, and still have some questions.

What are some worthwhile power mods? Can they be chipped? Do extractors/exhaust/aircleaner make a worthwhile difference?

I want to fit big tyres, but keep it low (my last 4by was a GQ on 37's with 5 ...

Good Value Air Compressors? For 31-33" 4x4 tyres?

Looking to buy a compressor today, and looking for recommendations for a good value compressor.
I will be occasionally using it in my 4by, to pump up 31-33" tyres, so it doesn't need to be a monster.
Just looking to not end up with an overpriced lemon!
Let me know your brands and aproximate prices ...
