I didn't hear from anyone so I ran a new wire to the new map light. There is no light in the rear only one in the middle which is the standard one, which works as it should. the clock is still playin up, I'm going to grab another from a wreckers and see if that does the trick. If not I will get rid ...

Hi guys just a couple of Q's. I have a 90 model Mav and have a map light out of a later model car, the Mav has the bolt holes and sits there ok. I could not adjust mine with the handbrake after installing new shoes in the rear so had to do it by hand....Now it stops on a dime (should have changed the rear ones months ago)

chasis conversion for 91 rosa to model without IFS?

Can this be done? eg get a Rocky chasis and bolt up to it. I like the body, dont like the IFS (want to lift it and get more flex). And before anyone sugests getting another make of car forget it.
Any sugestions?

I had a check through them not long ago same prob the torsion bars were/are gone they quoated $395 for a pair to suit my 91 fez. Cant complain about the pump yet still workin.

I was only there on Sat watched Rock crawling for a while and went 4x for about 3hrs. The little Feroza didnt want a bar of Telstra hill..lol

Im doing the same thing with a small pair of spots, you cant hook them straight up to the reverse light (it'll blow the fuse, I know I did it twice) I'm going to run a direct power wire from the batt (going to power an amp also) and tap into the reverse light to operate a relay that way it should ...

If your not sure do what I did. I went to pedders and for $14 they did a safty check on it, its only a guide and things arn't always totaly stuffed if something needs replacing straight away they will tell you.
Mine was a steering control arm on its way out.

I went to landcruiser park today couldnt find some of the members from here so i had a play on the tracks by myself. I got to see some rock crawling though that was pretty good. Would anyone be up for getting a few or more ppl together for a day at one of the 4x4 parks? Maybe a BBQ lunch? I'm new to 4x4 and reciently purchased a 92mdl feroza.
