One of them was nearly a kilo out another 800g another half a kilo and another balanced with about 150g of lead. I got balancing sand in all 5, stuff i got from pete at OPW. I just ...

Tailshaft Vs Cross Member (GQ)
I know its no secret that the tail shaft in the back of GQ's and probably GU's tend to kind of grind themselves away on the cross member at full droop. Mine has done it a bit with a 3" lift. Now that the 5" lift is going in its going to get even worse. The tail shaft has already been reveresed but ...

Ill also move the shock mounts as suggested and more than likely retain the Coils as also suggested (top and bottom?). Im no afraid to get friendly with the old angle ...

Yeah im pretty sure it'll be running 37's most of the time.... The gaurds will be getting sliced as much as they need to be or is possible anyways... Im probably leaning towards the 5" becaue of the lower COG. But wouldn't mind the extra 2" of travel from the 7". Another thought i had, would it be ...

To go 5" or 7"? Your invaluable thoughts please
Im just after everyones opinion on what size lift i should go. Its between 5" or 7" utilising tough dog big bores, mega lift coils (probably) and snake dropped radius arms all to suit the lift. As well as all the other gear that comes along with doing it. Its for a lwb GQ, that has no bodylift, that ...
