i did this.
made a manifold and and bolted a CT20 to my early 2L(roller rockers).

had it tuned with no mod pump.
just turned fuel up.
not bad.

then i got the pump modded with the boost compensator.
cost about $1500.
but run heaps better.
more power,tourqe,better fuel economy all the things they ...

cant remember the name of teh bloke you wrote it but i have a book called 'supercharged' (corky bell springs to mind??)and it is fantastic.give syou all teh data you need to configure a supercharger set up for your car.
mostly deals with petrol motors but if your interested in supercharging its well ...

well the concept is the same-ie forcing in more air than the motor would breathe by itself.
justteh delivery is differant.turbo being exaust driven and SC being drievn by the crank shaft.

so you would prob see a rise in fuel usage due to the fact the motor is working to turn the SC.however the ...

you need to pull the whoel little black box out and then they have little bolts holding them from the side and underneith.
you also need to slip the plastic shroud off the out side to get to the small bolts.

took me a while to figure it out aswell....

it would jump around a bit read 13.5 then 15.8 up to 19 something back down then it would just display a 1 on teh left side of the screen.

figured that bit out tho.

i can make it start with a bit of rewiring,and i cant see any fusible links in the wiring(only those in the boxs)

drive belt is ...

have checked all the fuses in the box located on the drivers side wall and inside the drivers kickpanel.

do they have fuseable links in the wiring between the batt etc?
didnt look like there where any..

when your alt went did you lose power to acc aswell??

howdy,
the charge light in my LN65(2L diesel) came on the other weekend,and not to soon after i lost power to accessories.

swapped in a another alt and voltage reg with no diff.

odd thing is i put 12volts to the wire that would normaly link to the alt every thing comes back on,
however the alt ...

get a deck with an aux in or ipod dock,and use an MP3 player

i have an alpine with an ipod dock.
never have any probs with skipping cds and i dont have to keep changing cds on those long treks!

yeah i did min earlier in the year.
wont be doing that again!
happily pay to have some one else change the bearsing over.

i would do as mudlux has,pull the axles out and get the old ones pressed off and the new ones pressed on and then just bolt your axles back in.

i think i paid about $80 or $90 ...

any on eknow what the thread size is on the oil pressure sender on a
2L is??

gday,
my battery went flat the other day and after swapping in a charged one,
the glow plug timer has started playing up.
it only leaves the glow plugs on for about 5 sec or something comapered to the 15 to 20 it used to do.

is there some kind of adjustment i can make on the relay or do i need to ...

are the fuel pumps off a 2L-t and 2L majorly differant?
would i be able to swap parts(ie boost/fuel regulator )off the 2L-T pump onto my 2L pump?
had my 2L pump recon'd last year so i would like to use it if i can...

also are the injectors differant off to a 2L-T to a 2L??

i just bought a turbo kit off a 2LT out of an 84 fourrunner,
just want to make sure i get everything wheni go to pull it off the motor,heres the list i have so far:
turbo
manifolds (int and ex)
fuel pump
thermosat housing
sump
crossover piping
assorted vacum lines and water lines
radiator(dont ...

build plate codes.
not 100% sure what code you will need to look for but toyota has a system,i cant remember which wya round it is ,so maybe some one else can correct me but i think that if the trans/axle code ends in an odd number then it is LSD and if it is an even number then it is open.

im getting my brother to send me the sub out of my celica in perth now and im gonna fit that into a custom box.

yeah i have seen one of the pioneer subs in a box,it was only a 160mm deep,was a 12inch sub to.
still trying to figure a way to fit it in cos it was hell cheap with the box.

how did you mount the free to air subs behind your back seat??

yeah i had figured that a custom box was gonna be the way to go.
i have been offered one of those pioneer shallow mount subs fairly cheap,
im a chippy so a custom box shouldnt be to much trouble...

if you want to find out more info on the super charger its self have a look in the forums on toymods.

the super charger you have is an SC14 off a 1G-GZE 2lt inline 6.
those lines are vacum lines.

the SC stands for Super Charger.
this is a roots type blower churning 1.4ly per min-honce the 14.
