Ive been thinking about getting it aswell. seems dont go cheap get the 300 dollar one.

theres accually two different types of electronic rust protection shizzle.
the 300 dollars ones do both which i assume is why they work alot better.

pull it out yourself and that'll save you a thousand or 2 heh.
if your lucky might just be the clutch packs. pull em out and check condition of them if they're worn grab some new ones from www.fwd-motors.com.au(brisbane) they're a dam awesum place for prices and usually have everything in stock.

i had the same drama. basicly would idle fine while cold but once it warmed up and engine had been turned off and restarted while still warm would stall while in drive or even netural. got a new airfilter checked and replaced vacum hoses disconnected cold fuel injector set timming adjusted airflow ...

if it was me i'd deffinately rebuild it since you have a 4.6lt, bigger tyres etc.
i forget what exactly but can upgrade the box with stronger parts which i'd be doing.

you cant get papers for a lift over 6 inchs. and if its under 6' you dont need any. 6' is the limit for total lift. total includes tyres, spring and body lift combined. so this friend of the friend is going to have to put in standard/ish springs and go back to get it rechecked as all good. then back ...

i started blowing diffs every time i went out so got maxidrives for me. 2 grand each end and its done.
didnt want to gay it up with nissan or toyota diffs

never heard of anyone breaking maxidrives at all anywhere.

prices have gone through the roof. even ebay is around $200
