stay with the 60 ive just found out i own a surf and not a 4runner parts are 3-4 weeks away. not happy. Whats bothering you about the 60??? if its the engine rebuild it will be better in the long run and a lot easier to get parts. Iwork at toyota and still having prob's :(

thats what i thought as well but what about the solid axle front end didn't the surfs come out with IFS cos thats what should be on there according to toyota

Surf front ends and engines

i own .....well thought i owed an 85 model 4Runner. untill yesterday. Brother had an accedent in it :x thought nothing of it until they had trouble finding a rear bar to suit it. The panel beaters ph Toyota and according to the data base my car is a surf???? :? Question is, Did the early model surfs ...
