i run a LWB vitara with 3" body lift and 3" suspention lift combo, there was a little rubbing on the front bumper but a small section cut out fixed that.

i only just noticed this problem and i just started advertising my car, when ever the car is in gear the reverse lights come on. does anyone know what could be causing this?

sorry for lack of info.
it is a screaching noise, it sounds like it is in the steering collum. you somtimes hear it on old cars when they are at full lock.

hi all,
i have a noise when i turn the steering wheel when the car is stationary or moveing slowly. iv got a 92 jx vitara.
there hasnt been a change in the feel of the car on the road but theis noise started last saturday and it is realy giving me the shits!

so the aftermarket part will fit straight in?
the mechanic didnt know wether this would work so he was recomending the genuine part. if the aftermarket par is easy to install i will go with it. you wouldnt know the brand or part name best suited for it?

i hav 92 vitara lwb but manual and i am running 31's.
i only get about 300k's as well but that has only gone down with teh bigger tyres i was getting 450 to 500 when running std tyres.

you should be able to get to it from the front if you unscrew the instement cover. also have you checked the fuses coz when my lights went out it was the fuse blowing.

yeh i have the same thing in my car only mine is barly noticable. it is a bearing in your gear box and qont do damage just got a bit water in teh gearbox.
does it stop once you hit gear 4 or 5?

if the air suspention doesnt work you could always look into the calmini 3"lift. iv got a standerd vitara and am verry happy with there 6" combo lift. with the air suspention though, would you run bigger rubber? cos then you wuld have troubles with lowering it for on road use? sorry if it has ...
