Do you shine your t-case or somthing.....

Nice job, though you will need to brace it from moving vertically as the arms are long and will flex.

Love the Hi-polish T-case  But I don't think those clamps will last long. Better bolt it on. :D
Looks like we may need a combined test day.

Red_zook its 6mm thick and 150mm wide.

Bad JuJu: i thought about flex issue and thats why i have reinforced it with angle iron ribbing.

and as for the t case its sprayed silver when we fitted my rock hoppers.

I think he is talking about the long arm of the T/Case flexing .. not the skidplate

It will take about 10 minutes to bend that so take some spanners to remove it. Also if you have fitted rockhopper gears your transfer mounts will last about the same. You need to beef them up,truck ways 1.3 ton and i have seen heaps of tranfer cases ripped in half due to poor mounts.
cheers Paul

Its not the thickness its the design, you should have a web along both sides because that little angle iron will bend, bend, bend. Cheers paul

Dude you are doing something wrong if it takes you 10 minutes to break transfer case mounts just because you have gears.
Top notch sanger, I need one too please.
Just throw it in the post with my tube doors. ;)

Good start Sanger, but i gotta agree that it needs a bit more strength in the design. maybe brace up the rear of it similar to mine ;) easy to do. Keep up the top work mate

1 piece of plate on an angle or verticallly ALL THE WAY across will prevent it bending

That must make fitting the drive shafts a pita, or is easiler then it looks.

Mark, is that a hand brake hanging off the back of yours ? If so, is the T-case at standard height ? Ive all ready bent one and have been thinking of doing a plate similar to yours but didn't know if it would have enough room.
Must also fit the webing around the mounts. Great idear.
