Engel Winch Challenge series 2007

Post by Smithy jnr »

Check out the CCDA web site for info on the new Engel winch challenge series taking off in 2007. Two new properties only a bit over an hour out North of Melbourne, four events in the series, the Ateco being one of them. First round in March.

Well it looks good. Just makes the calendar a lot tighter but we'll work with that.
A question though!
I'm presuming that given it's a series then there is a prize for the winner of the series. If this is the case are the entry restrictions for the ATECO still going to apply????
As in, I have previously not been eligable for the ATECO because i have only done Navruns and pajeros, not winch events. So will i be allowed to enter the ATECO if i do the series.
Also if event have maximum number of entries, will preference be given to those doing the series or is it still first in best dressed???

Thanks, Daniel

The ATECO will be a stand alone comp and round 3 of the series. Each comp is a stand alone event, with independant event sponsors.

Hi all,
Does anyone know what the go with th dates for Round 2 of the Engel Series is?
The CCDA home page info states that Round 2 is the long weekend in June 8-11th whereas if you go into the CCDA calendar it states that Round 2 of the Engel series is actually the weekend after 15/16/17th June??

Does anyone know the correct date?

Thanks

Guys
Its getting close and I imagine lots are still refining their comp trucks but for those that are keen and ready to go, there is a working bee being held on the property thisd weekend. Its a good chance to get out and do some work and whilst on-site even test out the mods you've done to your trucks over the break.
For more info check out the CCDA wesite.
