Suzuki SX4

Post by -ZukChiK- »

What are peoples thoughts on the new Suzuki SX4? Obviously not as a 4B (cos its not!) but as a general soft roader for getting around in and long trips etc....

I kinda like it :D ..... a lot!

I almost want to test drive one just to see how it goes......

i saw one at the dealership and was very impressed with it, the yanks have had it for about a year now and they are nuts for it!! plus the rally works car is doing very well, it would be a great daily driver.

Rally? Yes.... the Ignis was good too, but for anything else? YUK!

This is the end for Suzuki... they've gone mainstream. If this sell sreally well, they will continue to drop 4WDs off the line... bad juju :bad-words:

Don't know about same height, haven't seen one in the flesh yet... but the SX4 looks much less like an ugly tissue box.

And I doubt Suzuki will stop making 4WD's... They are just filling another part of the market, one that's actually making a lot of money for them! Which has to be good I'm sure.... Unlike some of their previous, er ... models :D I think the sx4 is a good looking wagon compared to some other makes that currently out there anyway

That's true, however they use the Grand Vitara as a rally car. The Hill Climb Special for Pikes Peak. Not a brilliant 4WD but still pretty good and better off road than an Ignis.

the the pikes peak escudo can not really be called a vitara... you could not compare this to the road going version at all..basically the 2lt v6 block is about as close as anything looks wise relating to a vitara..

That's not the point though. :P

Actually looks a bit similar style wise if you take off the wings and oh I dunno, put the entire bottom half back on and gave it some clearance. :D

Had a look at the SX 4 a couple of days ago, when I picked up my new suzuki APV van.

I want one  you could have so much fun flinging one of them around on a dirt road.

Not a 4wd though

Bring back the sierra

Mock :D
