Air Connections to TB42 dizzy?

Post by -ET 4wd- »

Howdy all,
Was wondering if in the vast pool of knowledge out there if there was anyone who can tell me how and where to hook up a air line to the dizzy on my 4.2 petty.

I have a comp coming up in about 4 weeks and from what ive heard the bog holes are deep this year, so i would like to keep the steam out of the dizzy.

I already have a idea for the coil, just got to run it past a mate and see what he thinks,

Any help and pics would be great!

Cheers,

Steve.

We have done it to our shorty.Remove rubber valve from top of dissy cap and replace with air line.Run it back to the firewall&bring it out at the back of the bonnett.Run your air line up beside your snorkel.Fit a little pod air filter to top of air line & cable tie to top of snorkel just below air ram.Worked really good on our shorty. As for the rest of the electrics, lanoline spray works really good.Hope this helps. Will try & post a couple of pics later.Regards Ken .
