Fuel guage wrong after lpg conversion
Fuel guage wrong after lpg conversion
hey guys, i got my 4.5 GU converted to dual fuel last week, now the main fuel guage is the guage for my LPG. the guage reads incorectly, it doesnt go all the way to full or empty when the tank is. Is there any way i can callibrate the fuel guage?
i'v got this as well
my main guage is my sub tank petrol gauge.even when full is up and down.
my sub petrol gauge is now my gas gauge
when gas is full it reads about 3/4 but runs well below empty even when theres still gas in it.
when it's on empty i just look under the car at the gas tank guage to check more accurately.
cant help you on calibrating the gauges though...sorry
i just put up with it and always make sure iv got plenty of petrol.
thanks

you guys might find that the tank guage sender (mopunted in the tank) is the wrong type for the nissan guages, as the guage reads resistance,
if i remember right, the nissan guage reads 0-85 ohs,
and a few of the tanks on nthe market, the sender suits 10-90 ohms, which will make your guage dispolay the wrong level,
hope yas understand,
