Value of 60series TurboDiesel

Post by Sandy Rut »

Mate has a 1986 60 (61?) series with a 12HT engine with 320,000k's and he wants to get rid of it.

Just wondering what the going price range is for one (min/max).

I understand that 'value' depends 3465987346798 different variables, but at this stage am just interested at the prices people are paying...

Tell him there not worth much at all....... BUT.... Seen as though i'm a top bloke, i'll give him 1500 bucks for it ;)

On a more serious note, Check the local trading post and yards... There worth more in areas where there sorted after so i really depends on where you are.. Keep in mind that a good running 12ht sells for 2-3 grand or 4 from a wrecker. You don't see many 61's selling for under 6g's and good, later model ones still fetch over 10.
Cheers, Dan

Seen one in a caryard just the other day...looked clean, but had a little rust in the usual places. They had $8500.00 on it.

take about 30% off a yard price in most situations and their is your normal retail price.
