I read through the form, there is a High knock back probability unless you can get someone to say Tuff Truck is a religous thing, cause there is A School/polling place right on the corner before the property. so that is less then 8 ks

Anybody can vote prior to any election by visiting their local electoral office
http://www.elections.nsw.gov.au/state_g ... oll_voting
Basically you need to visit an office the before the COB Friday prior to the election
I actually vote Fridays for most elections to beat the crowd
They have some qualification requirements but i have never been asked to justify my need to vote early
If they do ask just tell them your working on the polling day 0600 to 1800
or envoke the following rule
*will be travelling under conditions which will prevent you from voting at any polling place during polling hours (8 am to 6 pm) on election day
Travelling under conditions.... I'm too pissed to vote

We all voted at Bathurst a couple of years back
The only time i have ever enjoyed voting, it was a crack up

Competitors and spectators what do you think of these 2 new TT rules???

1. Rear steer is a 3 point penalty for each use
2. Travel ramp wheel base has to be measured at the vehicles lowest setting.

i think they are pretty fair. in particularly the travel ramp one?

As a spectator, i think the new rules are fair.

Might help to level the playing field a little, and also boost competitive spirit between the teams.

I agree with you Athol. Brings it more level for those that cant afford/are not able to fit hydraylics and rear steer to their vehicle. This is a comp for "registered" rigs after all :D

Gonads sold the Vit a few weeks ago.

He was going to drive Shane's old Jeep the Firetruck for ABT i believe, but Sean may not have got entry in time, or maybe it won't be finished in time, not sure.

I really don't think the travel ramp one would make any difference to the end result (for that event), but i could be proven wrong.
The rear steer penalty could potentially have a bigger effect tho. Rear steer will definately be used far less,if at all.

the fairest way of mesuring the travel ramp is to measure the wheel base from the centre of the front left tyre to the centre of the rear right tyre. this factors the width into the score. the wider trucks have more advantage over the narrower trucks

how are they goin to count rear steer?

is it as soon as it passes back thru the center line?

gunna be some hard calls there

what happens if dont put it completly back to center? and have it off at a tiny angle?

i see some disputes over that call unless they have it very well defined

i dont care about the playing feild being even , theres always gunna be someone that carn't afford this or that so how do you equal the playing field for them ? ,

i think they shouldnt allow any fixes if or when you break that would sort out the have $$$ weak trucks against the real tough trucks

but hey i only spectate
if its worth doing do it intensly , better still do it with MADPASSION

set your limits way beyond your abilities

Drinks all round. You will be introduced to scullable offences. I'm sure MissForbyNewb can tell you about them. I have always taken my own food, but from memory Hekta got the food one last year. PM him and ask what he though of it.

too true DRS !!
I was down directing traffic last year ,
& there were only about 4 cars with pre-paid tickets !!!

we sat them off too the side of 1 of the lanes !!
then about 9:55 , sent them up the exit lane & they all drove straight in !!!
while others were in the lines for 1/2 to 1 hour !! :D

Put that to them for next year & see what happens, but you are dead right the width is also part of the equation
