King Springs
I had a set in my SWB soft-top. I have to say that the ride in the back was too firm. Once I was carrying a large lawn roller in the back, and it was nice to feel the rear springs actually operating again.
I have another set which I'm about to fit in my 98 model hard-top and I expect that it will be much more comfortable as a result of the HT being heavier.
I think I'll set up a thread to demonstrate the technicalities of installing the lift as heaps of people are enquiring about it.
Regards,
Adam

Yeah i have kings in mine and i would have to agree that the rear is a little harsh but once loaded with camping gear or what ever its fine. They are not to hard to fit but a write up would surely help a few. The only other thing i did to mine was add a 15mm spacer to the front to raise it 30mm inorder to level it out as mine was higher in the rear. I am using MX62 cresseda shocks in the rear and they have plenty of travel, In the front i have flliped the strut mounts.

i dont know what year cresseda they are out of but mx62 is the cressda model number and i just quoted that to super cheap and they got them ordered, they were like $60 or something so the are pretty crap as you can guess but they do alright (just wouldnt want to do long drives over bumpy crap roads or any such thing). The they do extend very far but the spirng should not fall out.
These are how much longer they are

Those shocks plus kings flex like this (if you are unfortunate to have your crappy road tyres on!)
