Geez need to be very careful in posting here, you guys are sooo in the know. Thanks for the bearing correction - my mind picture did not translate to words well.

I also recall a comparsion on Pirates I think that studied every aspect of the Ford 9" against Danas etc, and the Ford won hands down. Can't find the link ATM though.

PS in US Nascar racing even Chevy's had Ford 9 inch diffs at one stage!

v8 supercars still all run 9s.... have for a while....nuthin else can take that punishment other than a custom spooled 9 (drool)
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown
