Just wondering if someone can tell me what goes on this bracket, near the front of the engine on the drivers side?
This is a 1.6L 8v TBI, but I remember the same thing back on the 1.3L as well. I'm guessing its a vacuum-related valve of some sort as the revs drop when i put my finger over the hole.
My 1.3 has a little black plastic cylinder with 'AISIN' writen on the top. Theres another one the same on the intake manifold under the carby somewhere. (I'm assuming you mean what plugs into the hole on the hose)
yeah, it looks vacum related, probably costs 5c to manufacture, and $500 to buy
