So just to clarify, there are 'halfway, time off rest points' in each stage, aren't there?? Just a 5min rest stop halfway up each hill!!
Thanks in advance, Dave.

Bout 25mm for the week, most of that being today. Should be enough just to keep the dust down.

Overall (from a spectators point of view) we had a great weekend...the rain was a little annoying at times, but it killed the dust so all was good!

Friday night stages were short and quick with only one winch needed in each...Heard a few people say they thought it was a little boring though, but you cant please everyone.

The Saturday stages were great, with one including a compulsary dead pull winch using a sand anchor...some teams really struggled here finding a good patch of ground to anchor to. I saw at least one anchor get straightened too.

I think the highlight of the Saturday stages was Kevi Nott & Darren Phillips from Dirt Track Cowboys putting their truck onto its side for a brief second before coming back down onto its tyres. They continued on for a great drive though.

Come Sunday morning and things didnt take long for the highlight package to be added to.

With Laurie Sternbeck first up on the second Sunday stage he powered his way up the 2nd hill of the stage...only to find a rock that threw the front of his truck up for a real butt-puckering moment...Check out the off road images site as Mick got the whole thing with sequence shots...looks great! Just lucky that Lauries rear locker was broken, because if it was working, he was gone!

Then there was a roll over at the same spot later on in the day but I cant remember who it was...I know Mick got the photos of that one too, so once again check out off road images for a look!

Was a great weekend and we are already looking forward to round 2 at rocky!

Had an awsome weekend. Still having trouble holding the engine mounts together and still flogging out the bushes at the chasis side of the leading arms.

We managed to be the only ones to drive all of stage 8 and won it. . But by the end of the 10 stages we did not place to well but had a ball any way.

On our way home we got a flat so a very big thanks to all of the people who stopped to offer help and that did help including Fester who may look big tough and ugly but is actually an  . :finger: I got two spares now.

Thanks to Ryano at FOURBY'S for the new MAXXIS Trepadors that he got fitted to my vehicle today. Great service mate.
