V8 Patrol Gathering

Post by Vulcanised »

I guess this should really be in the events section...... i can move it later if need be.
After stealing somebody elses idea for a V8 gathering (thanks twisty :D ) I thought i would try to organise a V8 Patrol gathering somewhere for a day, or for the weekend and go wheeling. We could organise a bunch of us..... check each others rides out, share thoughts and ideas..... i think it would be fun  The gathering wouldn't be forum specific, i have posted this on my forum as well...... Anybody keen?

EDIT: Poked it in the Nissan section where it should be :D

Sounds like a great idea... is the invitation open to those about to do a DSL V8 conversion? Mine's still off the road, but spanners will be turning next weekend.
2000 GU II, 6.5L Chev Diesel (ex ZD30), lift, bar+winch, rear bar, drawers, fuel tanks I need a personal loan to fill... most of the regular touring gear.

Sounds like a brilliant idea

97 GQ LWB with VS 355

I thinks its a good idea for anyone about to do a conversion to come along.
To get some ideas but also to know all the things not to do.
Might be a bit of a motivational day for those doing a conversion.........
Anyway count me in

Why not open it up to all makes of V8 transplants? Would help for the first meet and there are always good ideas from different operators...
Try putting it on other forums? Do a pole?
