Intercooling a D22 DX?

Just wondering how hard it would be and would it give a noticeable boost in torque?

Would it be hard to come by a ZD30 intercooler off a Patrol at a wreckers? And what could I expect the whole project to cost me?

And is it just a simple matter of extending the pipes down to the front, mount the intercooler under the bumper bar and route the pipes through? Or will the mapping have to be changed etc?
