whats the right aerial

whats the right aerial
Don't know if this is the right place to ask? But !!!!!!! Does any one know what type of aerial i should run on my patrol so a can run my hand held scanner, Will a normal uhf aerial work fine?
It all depends on what you want to scan. VHF, UHF, HF Etc as an antenna is only efficent in a certain band.
Work out what you want to scan and if you wand to scan the whole band, get yourself a wide band scanning antenna.

Hookers are like bowling balls, You pick them up, put your fingers in them, then throw them in the gutter and they come back for more.
Get a transmitter and do your own orderingWish I had coils wrote:Yeah Cheers, I just want to listen to cops, ambo's, fire , taxis and fast food joints for i laugh
George Carlin, an American Comedian said; "Think of how stupid the average person is, and realise that half of them are stupider than that".
Should be able to with a digital scanner as the transmissions are not encoded but they are not cheap and even then may be hit and miss.topend-yobbo wrote:Can't listen to the police anymore anyway as they are all digital now.
If you can , can you please let me know what scanner you have purchased.
