Water leaking pretty muck means it needs a rebuild or replacement, from memory the patrols are not cheap turbos to replace.

Oil could be blow by (is you dads car running stock boost), turbo seal failure or represent another engine problem such as a broken ringland. A compression and leak down test will identify if any major issues exist

You should take it to a company called CGC turbos or call them west of sydney and they might be able to match an aftermrket flange for it.

realistically you should be able to get a new turbo for less than $1500 if you find the right place.

I remeber my mates dad going through this with his patrol. He was reall pissed as a hilux turbo could be found for much cheaper
