i want to add some strength to the diffs in my XJ Chero

just wondering what options i have and cost invovled

Are you talking about stengthening the housing or the axles cv's etc?

just the housing for now, as i plan to ugrade to a stronger diff alround sometime this yeah hopefully

Does the housing need strengthening? The XJ has a Dana 35, so the words polishing and turd come to mind...

Easiest would just be to leave it stock and swap to a D44 as sonn as possible.

yeah i know but there are so many other plans on the cards first

and as my 33's go on friday i was hoping to do something untill i get a D44

As I understand it the biggest problem with Semi-float D35s is the chance of snapping an axle shaft and losing a wheel. There is no easy fix for this ap[art from fitting something bigger and stronger.
