Room under the gaurds

Post by maccasMQ »

Hey i am thinking of getting 33" simex extreme trekker 2's and i know these are actually bigger than 33", probably about 34". Does anyone know if these will fit without scrubbing the gaurds too much - i dont have body lift or extended shackles or suspension lift. 33's will fit under there, just wanna make sure about 34's. Will i maybe have to get extended shackles or 2" body lift? Thanks guys for your help in advance.

I ran 33 x 10.50 MTs on very sagged stock suspension with slight rubbing at full articulation in the rear. Nothing to worry about

i had 33 12.5 muds on cruzer rims on my mk longy they only hit the top of the front gaurd (not by much) at full flex whilst at full lock ( sagged springs with no flaps or flares) a bit of gaurd massaging with the knockometer and they should fit, you may have to remove your front mud flap brackets.
mq shorty, black, rust free!!, quarter chop, F&R tube bars and sliders, q78's or 33'' stt's, 4.88's with lsd waiting to be thrown in.. :D http://www.patrol4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9540
