well my car has been finsihed and made 195hp/145kw and about 950ft.lb tourqe.
My question is that good becuase i spent alot of of money and i thought it would make a fair bit more power..
What are ur thoughts?

Are we talking about power/torque at the wheels or at the flywheel?

sounds pretty bad to me, for starters the thing needs an intercooler to bring the inlet temps down, from there you can put more ignition timing boost and fuel into it, to make more power
p.s. dont use a cheap chinese intercooler, they dont flow, or cool efficiantly and you will only have to spend more money again.

Thanks mate my pod filter is pretty much like 2" away from the turbo and gets hot do you think this would be killing much peformance?
Also i'm not sure if i have a Garrett turbo or not becuase the people said it should have a Garrett tag. Mine doesn't and i asked the guy it doesn't he reakons becuase it was a custom build
Any help with other suggestions

Yeah i understand i need a intercooler but i thought it would get alot better HP then that IMHO .turbo4.8 wrote:pod filters are good for nothing, your going to want to get some nice clean air from outside the car, find a nice big air box, the less restrictions you you have the more efficient the turbo will get so keep all you piping big. but you still need a good intercooler. i can't stress that enough!!!!

a good cooler will cost you app 1200$ you just have to make it fit, as far how much h/p it will make depends alot on your ignition system the size and type of turbo that you have, exhaust and inlet manifold, intercooler size and efficiancy, carby and fuel, and the nut who is tuning it and if he has a brain or not.

ive been told the same thing, about tuning an MX5 (race car) with motec.... no idea, said we'll do a free service if we can put a sticker on the front gaurd and that was it.
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown
chappos tuned 2 of my mates gq diesels. both go well but i think the egt's may be a lil high. ive heard they have no idea about petrols tho.
they also removed and bypassed the water seperator off of my uncles 75 series because it was full. motor hydrauliced itself a few weeks later, they knew nothing.
there used to be a realy good shop in the industrial estate at maroochydore but i cant remember there name, mab someone can help ya

mate im running a turboed tb 4.2 and ive got a t4 turbo intercooler bit of internal work like cam port polish decompressed and im getting 230- 255kw depending on what tyres i got it dynoed with 35 @ 235kw at the wheels with 31s i got 255kw 37 i got 230 kw id be looking into this but i can tell ya ive spen twice as much as you on my motor and you sure do get what you pay for...........
