Has anyone out there managed to graft defender flares onto a rangie / disco? Does it look OK?
Pictures??
Cheers,
Adam.

Defender flares to Rangie?

Hopefully more reliable than my rangie...

Looked at it seriously one day, but they required too much hacking to get a decent fit on Disco Dave, and the wreckers wanted 75 dollar each for them. Too much for an experiment and they were sun affected too. Rubber flares were much cheaper, though not as pretty looking.
Nice gq swb ute chop with a huffer for the good times
The outline is a little similar but the ones i have seen in the uk fitted to rangies just look wrong, not as bad as the jeep wrangler flares on a disco but still yuk.Slunnie wrote:I didn't think that they were hugely different to the Rangie spares flares in general shape.
Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.
