hi all im looking at get a 1993 hilux ln106 shell and chassis and diffs and just what to know what motor i can put in it. it use to have a 2.8 deisel engine and i dont what to spend that much money how can i get away with it thank you

Well how big is your poket.
there is the holden /chev v6 , lexus v8 , supra engine , you do have a few options

Go 3RZ-FE - Easy conversion. Stick to Toyota and you can't go wrong. I paid $2000 for one with bellhousing, fuel tank, radiator, wiring harness and computer. All out of a 2002 2WD.
