Front hubs on rear

has any tried front hubs on the rear looking at it will move the wheel out and has disc (main point of doing it) and the axle will fit over the front stud pattern. just thought id see if anyones tried before attempting it im going to try puting my fronts on the back first before ordering new s/h hubs, shrek

still need to fab up your caliper mounts, and find a caliper that will work properly


I dont think the issue with fitting discs to the rear was finding a disc to fit, its more to do with the calipers.

I think you'll have trouble with hub nut set up,front run's 2 thin nuts plus lock tab rear runs big lock nut, lock plate and lock screws with the bearings further apart wich I beleive will hang outside the hub about 30 mm or so.I may be wrong,so try it and see for yourself . And let us know what the go is.

It wont work the rear hub is longer and the bearings are further appart than the front hub also because the fronthub is shorter the axle will end up being to long . Forget it if you want more track fit 80 hubs to the rear with a custom caliper mount and IFS hilux hubs to the front with disc spacers .
