I have just bought a Projecta 120A dual battery isolator to help charge my winch battery. Upon reading the instructions it says:
"Suitable for Vehicles with Externally Sensed Alternators only, otherwise you will need to use a ELECTRONIC type ISOLATOR".
Is a Suzuki Sierra alternator externally sensed? Is EF falcon? thats what I'll be upgrading to soon (well maybe?).

Internally or externally sensed alternator???
Want 33's,My manual sais for a standard alternator,It features a solid state regulator that is mounted inside the alternator. All regulator components are enclosed in a solid mold,So I guess this is internally regulated, hope this helps,Cheers Paul.

int or ext sensed
That is the plan once wiring is finished. I thought about running a cable between batteries with a switch in case start battery ever goes flat.Zute wrote:Off topic, do you run your winch only off the second battery ?
