You will need to modify the floor pan around the fire wall , the bell area of the 13,16 are bigger then a one litre , or other option is a 2" body lift ;)

is your transfer case a series 1 - 2 depending you can keep it and make crawler case out of it by adding the gears out of a 1.3ltr case.
go the body lift and forget heavy spring you'll regret it, reset the ones you have and get extended shackles spend some money and get high mount shockie towers with shockies to suit
show us some pics as you go.
good luck

is it a swb i have a lwb and i have done a chassis extension (very minor extension) so i could do rears up front and i have got a corolla motor in it at the moment and i am thinking of putting a gemini diesel into it as i might be able to get it cheap (like about $300-$400) and i had a hilux fuel tank installed into it as well (cheap long rang fuel tank i think its 75 lt so about double the standard tank capacity) so if you want to check out my thread for more ideas check here http://carl.outerlimits4x4.com/viewtopi ... ht=gremlin

you need the transfer with the lay shaft that pokes out about 5mm either side just below the shifter its hard to explian I have both if you want to see the difference and i have a 1.3 transfer as well so i can show you what you need to get as for shackles never brought them always made my own but i cant emagine any more than $100 for 4 and if you want to put rear up front then why not put hilux front in rear thats what im doing.
