Spline count on X90

Post by Squik »

Putting lockers in the X90, can anyone confirm the rear spline count? I've confirmed the front is 26 by scouring the internet... is the rear the same?

oh man, its been so long that i can't remember the rear spline count.

but on some earlier model vitaras, the front shafts have a 26 spline outer, and a 22 spline inner. i haven't been able to find a 26/26 spline front shafts up here. and i've taken some shafts off a 94 model. maybe the efi ones had the spline change. as fo rthe rear, i can't help.

and still working on that quote for you.

All the rears are 26 spline but that's not the issue. What you need to know for the rear is whether it is a 10 or 12 bolt R&P and yours should be a 12 bolt. On the front it whether it is a 22 or 26 spline shaft and yours should be 26. It's only the sidegears on the front that is different with between the front ARB lockers.
