Porta power it out, weld and bog it, spend $1000 for a internal cage, safer than ever, less stuffing around and if you do it again will be a lot less damage.

Hhaha. Mybe. Well another thing i found out now is the motor. It makes a noise like piston slop and has had since i got it. Now that it has been upside down, there is a new clicking noise.. like something new from within the motor. And a few ppl say it is easy to bend a rod or smething when a rollover has occured because of all the oil goin to the top of the motor. So in saying this i may have a rooted 3 litre diesel, or a bout to be, and stuffed cab. The car i said i might be getting was a heap of crap so thats out of the equation.. oh what to do.. And there is no cabs about..

It seams you have a problem with others having the same opinion as you. Most of them have been here a long time and have got a lot more credability here than you so others will look straight past your post because they have no idea who you are or what you know but when someone else that has been here a period of time backs your opinion up it does 2 things. First the person asking the question gets an answer he trusts and secondly it gives you more credability. But continuing to reply the way you have been makes you look like a dick to the long time users and then there is less chance they are going to reply which in turn gives you no credability here.

Take this advise as you like. Im not having a go at you just trying to explain how things work here. Enjoy ;)

Nice words of wisdom. :D In last attempt to find a ccab i rang d+w wreckers. They had nothing and said that it will be a mission to find somehing worthwile.. Drove all the way to toowoomba to pick up that 95 model and it had 5 mills of water undeeer the carpet and rust had be painted over throughout the cab...... :? What a heap of :bad-words: shit.. That stayed exactly where it was.

Awww i wos thinking guys.. maybe not all is lost if i cant find the cab.. If i get this newer hilux right, i have my car still sitting up the side. The hole front end is smick condition still. Maybe its not the end of her.. do you think i could do a solid axle swap on the new hilux, (2000) its a single cab to but its ifs.. What do you think about throwing the front end outa the old one into the new one?? To achieve a solid axle 2000 model :D Its dooable isnt it? Every one does it to other cars.. Let me no what you all think. Thanks Heaps guys ;)

Go RUFF i read that sh*t about the echo and thats a few second of my life i won't get back  i guess some people think drugs are good
As for the 00 model IFS only has ride softness going for it the rest are all downs, i would't bother the time to do a SAS at home and properly then get a engineer to sign off on it or pay someone to do it you could have fixed the other one and i think you can only do SAS if you run coils prob Best bet Look in members section and look for chunderlicious lux build up and Pm him as he's had dramas with engiereeing his coil set up and now think that project has been canned so i'd still fix what you have on the chance it won't let go (possably check it isn't exhaust noise like cracked pipe or cracked manfoild/extractors) beta get going not long till easter trip :?

Could do but i think it'd be hard to get most of the money back and if the body mounts don't line up the new chassis mounting points are going to have to be engienered so maybe a 2wd cab as they would be cheaper you'd think, Maybe if you found a 2wd LN series cab (not sure if they made that series in 2wd but think they did i'll ask around today) but could be worth ring around for one of them

Easy as, cut the roof of the rusted one, weld it onto yours and voila. Solid axle and your old car back!
It woudl have been done and painted by now :D

Just get the entire cab. You really shouldnt pay anymore for the entire cab cause lets face it once the turret cut is done the rest of the cab is basically useless. I dont know of too many people who are looking for a bottom of a cab!
Maybe one with rust will be a option and fix the rust as you travel.
Or the other option might be chop the top off your , have an internal cage fitted with a Bamini top..............no idea on the legalities and total costs there though.
