hey al again.. soo i got my cirtificate and a steering idle arm i tightens my u bolts and its all good now thanks for the help fellas...but now my altenator isnt charging properly dose any one have an alternator they want to get rid of for a 40 series cruzer?

could possibly just be the regulator. not sure if 40's have a built in one or not. also could be your poles have lost their magnatism. it ends up being less stuffing around if you just take it to an auto sparky. save time and inevitably money.

3f is the later 6 cylinder petrol motor that replaced the 2f that replaced the f motor in the first 40's....best to get yours fixed i think...

I say it would be the charge regulator or the bushes inside.
you can get both from a auto electrics place cheaper than buying a complete new one

oh ok then thanks fellas ..i got me battery charged by a sparky so i can still get to work but yerr i'll take it to the auto electrics place..thnaks 4 the help guys.
