rear power - cig lighter question

Post by smiley_smoke »

hey guys, i am installing two cig lighter outlets in the back to run a cooler/warmer for summer driving and also another for just charging my jump start pack (used for lights when camping) my question is should i run power to each allt he way from the front or can i jumper the power and earth from one to the other.. the secondary one will be used here and there.
the first one in line will have 4ga going into it crimped and soldered connections.

any advice would be appreciated.

cheers

NO need to run separate cables - one suitably sized cable is adequate.

I also believe 4ga would be suitable.

Cheers,
