V6 or V8 Conversions

Post by bluethunder »

I have a 96' Hilux and am looking at putting a V6 or a V8 in in.
I am not a very mechanical though. So, I am wondering where would be the best place in NSW (Preferably Sydney) to get a full v6 or v8 conversion done? (As in, I drive it in, and drive it out with it all done)
Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers
Mark

V6 and V8 conversions are the same amount of work.
They will both cost about the same to do.
They both have over heating problems if not done correctly.

I know which one I`d prefer after all that and its not the V6.

Very good Mico & Guts.
I like the idea of the 8 banger too.
But, can you tell me where to get the work done? and around how many $$ ?

What would be the point of going to all that effort and ending up with a pissweak v6?
This is not legal advice.
