air bags
Moderator: Micka
air bags
looking to run air bags in the rear of the 2 door im putting together.would like 30 per cent more travel than standard.is anyone running a good set up that works well.
smooth rides with power
I have done some reading on the internet and to my knowledge the series 3 bags would be the way to go. The reason is that the thing the bag sits on is shaped like a cone somewhat giving you a higher spring rate when in the lowest position and softer when pumped up being better for off road. I have read on an American web site that they have a 2 inch lift bag that would give you way more than your 30% extra travel. If you need the website I can search for it.

Yep, that would be the Arnotts GenIII's
Lots of travel, nice and strong, lifetime warranty.
Dual spring rate - FREEWAY versus OFFROAD settings, as per the EAS.
They're designed for P38a (MkII) Rangies - top and bottom cap/piston fittings feature a 'D' shape knob, secured by an 'R' pin.
It would be reasonably easy to fab up mount plates for other applications -ie a 2 Door or Defender etc...
As always, you would need to obtain correct length shockies to make the most of the available travel.
I have these in stock right now.
I also have these on my own car and they are indeed sensational...

I have pdf specs sheets on mine:

Arnotts Inc:

Aussie dollar has changed a bit since I last updated site, could probably do slightly better pricing...
