Electrical Problem: no park light, brake, dash lights

Post by josh9465 »

i dunno what ive shorted out. but i dont have any park lights or dash lights.
head lights work. high/low. my clock goes blank when i turn the park and headlights on. the time resets. the high beam blue light on the dash comes on when i turn the lights on, but its not on high.

when i press the brake the interior light goes off.

indicators work.

anyone had this problem before.

Sounds like earth issues or alt/battery. does the alt work and i am guessing it starts etc?

check for an earth around battery or firewall inside/outside may have come off.

?? what were u doing prior to it crapping itself ??

dash / Park light fuse

dunno why things go screwy when it blows, but they all do the exact same thing when that fuse blows

agree, fuse for sure...high beam light on dash is like a blown fuse indicator and trippy stuff always happens to dash lights etc.
