Diesel Specialist tuner - Brisbane - any recommendations

Post by shorty_f0rty »

Hi guys,

I would like to get the 3B in my 40 serviced and tuned by a good diesel mechanic. There are a few niggling issues in regards to fueling, excessive smoke and performance I would like to try and sort out which was why I was thinking going to a diesel specialist rather than my usual mechanic.

I would like to get the fuel adjusted, a Compression test and anything else required to get the max performance outta the 3B.

Therefore I am looking for recommendations for diesel mechanics.. closer to the CBD the better for me but its not a requirement..

so.. who have you had experience with and was it good?

cheers,

Andrew

www.highwaydiesel.com.au

They're at Coopers Plains.

Go and see Craig, they are specialists in this and will not BS about the state of your engine.

I wouldnt trust anyone else to work on my diesel engine.

Diesel Tuning

Post by stinger »

after Matty Luke from QDAD Automotive tuned my 80 series with aftermarket hair dryer in the car park at work for less than $700 including new injectors I would never go to anyone else. He also tunes Fester's 80. Basically it was like he actually connected the turbo and gave me another set of gears. Turned a big gutless 80 into something that I make the Rice Burners think about (okay it is not as quick as them but I make work for it).

Hew also looked at my fathers troopy and after doing some compression tests told him to go and get some new pistons and a rebuild then come back. No cost and was able to give a very accurate diagnositics of what the problem was. When he pulled the motor apart what Matty said is exactly what Dad found....

Give him a call 0417 017 933 or 3381 9200.

No afiliations, blah blah (except great customer service).
