I'm removing Sierra steering system to put in vit setup but can't seem to get the sierra piman arm to budge from the steering box shaft. I have tried belting the snot out of it with no luck.
What is the best mehtod?? Heat from a butane torch??
Any advice would be appreciated.

I bought one from supercheap and found the gap was too big for the factory arm and ended snapping two of them, where is the jaws on the gear puller actually pivot inwards the more the bolt is done up. Thats just my experience thoughBenT wrote:Or a pitman arm puller...

The trick is to wind it up till its about to break or slip off, and then get out your best BFH and smack either the pitman arm on the side right next to the spline, or the end of the screw in the puller.
