Another shortening question :roll: :lol:
Have heard of using a 1300 van extension housing in place of the 413 extension housing too "shorten" gearbox :? Just wanting too confirm this before I start hunting for said van gearbox. Anyone heard or done it??

No- I have not heared of this. I would be surprised if there is a shorter housing for a sierra gearbox as the slip yoke sits pretty close to 5th/reverse gears as it is. I am not sure where the length could come out of.

sorry, should of been a bit more clear, I think it didnt have the "extended" gear selector part, ie the gearlever is further forward.

Thought this was for the 1ltr box :?: sorry I mean i think you can use a 1ltr carry van box with a 1ltr sierra tail shaft housing to get a better first gear :cool:

Dont know about length though :?
