Post by mrRocky »

Anyone out there put 33's on a f75 rocky. yeah yeah ratios blah blah blah
il take em of and swap back to 31's after finding out how crap they are offroad. I know this There goin on anyway, 33x10.5x15 jungle trekkers
car now has 4" of lift will i need 2 more" so they fit, tyres are on custom offset rims to compensate scrub radius.
if anyone has attempted this any info would be appreciated on how to do it, not how it aint gunna work
cheers mik

Mate has 33's with 2" BL and 2" Spring, they scrub like hell on the springs when he turns, thats about it though, I haven't seen it at full twist, but they dont look like being anywhere near scrubbing.

Can you throw on some wheel spacers also, an extra couple of inches would help in width..

Dunno why you want 6 inches. I fitted 33 muddies under my F75 with just 2 inch springs and a little body modification. Just had to extend the bump stops. Get the right offset to clear your leaves and not scrub on the body. Yes the ratios's will stuck severly! What offset are they, i woudld of though a -28 would of compensated pretty well for scrub radius, and that is a off the shelf offset.

cheers guys, the rims bring the tyres an inch past the guards i thought i'd get the bigger offset as my 31's on F100 rims rubbed on the springs
the reason i wantbigger tyres is cause i reckon 33"jungle trekkers are best of road and thats the only suitable size as i dont wanna go a 9.5 wide tyre plus they look tuff.
my rocky already has a 600x300x75 intercooler, boost controller, 3"zorst,
and 15 psi so i hope the extra power is gunna help me out a bit, if it sucks to much i'll have to get the turbo hi-flowed and the pump turned up sum more

The power will help, but you still going to have a terrible crawl ratio if you decide you want to drive anything.
